menu planning 12/30-1/5

so last week, we had paninis, spaghetti, ham, soup, chinese, leftovers and lobster.  it was a fantastic week.  i have been reflecting on the new year.  i would like to be better at taking pictures of my meals in 2013. do you have any food-related goals to accomplish this upcoming year?

sunday - lentil and green bean casserole with cheddar
rice pilaf
tomato slices drizzled with italian dressing and sunflower seeds
steamed broccoli
pineapple

monday - new year's eve appetizers

tuesday - garlic chicken wrap with hard-boiled eggs, crimini mushrooms and parmesan
pecan cabbage slaw with honey, shredded carrots, green onions and golden raisins
vanilla yogurt-dipped banana

wednesday - lemon salmon
blue cheese stuffed green olives
cauliflower in spaghetti with garlic and oil
mandarin oranges

thursday - leftovers

friday - spinach salad with shrimp and feta in a bacon sugar dressing
dinner roll
balsamic vinegar marinated tomatoes (canned from the summer)
asparagus
peaches
milk

saturday - eat out at lil nick's pizza

sunday - ribs
brussel sprouts

away for the holidays and indulging in lots of sweets and goodies.  i'll come home 20 pounds heavier, but that's the point of over-indulging, right?  lol. merry christmas!

menu planning 12/9-12/15

i have a sick kiddo at home this week.  aaallllll week.  influenza b mean no school for him... and no break for me.  let's keep our fingers crossed that no one else gets sick.  lunches and suppers will be bland get-better food.  hopefully later in the week, hubby and i can sneak away for a bit.  what do you make when you have sick kids?

sunday - tuna salad with tomatoes, green olives, hard boiled eggs and blue cheese
quinoa with pistachios and golden raisins

monday - homemade chicken noodle soup
